Studies have shown that for companies to thrive and remain relevant, employee diversity at all levels of an organizational chart should be a top business priority as it is a key driver of innovation and creativity. The same is true of law firms.  While many law firms claim a diverse and inclusive environment or announce a commitment to diversity even though their ranks do not support such claims, Beusse Sanks truly lives it as its diversity is visible across all employment levels. 

At the time Jim Beusse hired Terry Sanks, Jim did not care about a person’s sex, race, nationalality, religion or sexual orientation. He simply wanted professionals who could do the work and work together as a team in meeting clients’ needs. Under Jim’s mentorship, Terry was provided an environment to blossom as an IP attorney.  

When Terry managed their prior firm for a majority of its existence, he ensured that the firm’s hiring practices were based on this fundamental belief which resulted in their former firm becoming one of the most diverse and inclusive IP firms in the nation.

This philosophy is a cornerstone of Beusse Sanks as we remain committed to fostering, maintaining and celebrating an environment where creative solutions and new ideas are welcomed from all employees as we passionately represent our clients. We exclude political views from the equation as we strive to be a united firm with a singular focus of serving our clients, first and foremost, as we provide more than IP services, but instead IP solutions.
