In Memoriam 1942 – 2022
James H. Beusse, a founding member of the firm, was an “AV” rated attorney who practices in the areas of patents, trademarks, copyrights, technology licensing, and related commercial matters. Mr. Beusse had extensive experience in protection of computer hardware and software. He was also very experienced drafting and negotiating licensing and other transactional agreements. He obtained several hundred patents for various clients including leading manufacturing corporations and educational institutions. His employment experience included five (5) years of engineering practice and thirteen (13) years as corporate patent counsel for General Electric. Since 1985, Mr. Beusse was in private practice representing numerous clients in obtaining and enforcing intellectual property rights.
Specific Areas of Patent Preparation and/or Prosecution Experience:
Electrical and electronic devices, including power converters, current/voltage control circuits, smart batteries, signal analysis, digital communication, power generators, monitoring devices; railroad locomotive systems; power generation equipment including steam and gas turbines and electrical generators; semiconductor devices and processing; mechanical and electro-mechanical devices generally.
